saYPro Updates

February 4th, we hosted our first ever Sweetheart's Maker's Market at Shawano County Park Pavilion.  We had over ten local vendors and all proceeds from this event went toward our annual food drive.  Thank you to those who attended, stay tuned for next year's event!

February 1st - 15th we hosted our annual food drive which benefits WeeCare Food Packs of Shawano and Backpack Blessings of Bonduel.  We were able to provide hundreds of single serve items to both locations with also the largest monetary donation, yet!    Thank you to our donation sites of: Charlie's County Market, CoVantage Credit Union, Prey & Asenbrenner Insurance, Bullfrogs & Butterflies, STRIVE Behavioral Solutions, Cellcom, KerberRose, Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce and Shawano & Menominee Counties Health Department.

We kicked off the year with our first Adult Prom at Stubborn Brothers Brewery on January, 21st 2023.  With over 100 people in attendance, it was a great event and everyone danced the night away. We are thankful for our professional photographer, Through the Lens Photography for taking Red Carpet photos, which were sponsored by Novolex.  We also had beautiful charcuterie boards and dessert bar, sponsored by, Bug Tussel AT&T.

Lastly a huge thank you to our amazing DJ, MC Whitehorse with Badgerstate Productions!

November & December Updates:

saYPro hosted our 7th Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser, November 12th at Golden Sands Golf Course with MC Whitehorse.  We are proud to have another successful event, so we can continue giving back to our community, hosting educational and motivational speakers, and a variety of other events, all while continuing to grow our organization!   A huge thank you to our event and round sponsors, we could not do this with out you!

As always, we are proud to partner with Toys for Tots ever year. This year, our steering committee delivered over 100 boxes throughout Shawano, Bonduel and Gresham communities. Some members picked up all of these boxes on December 5th.  Due to your support, we delivered nearly 2,000 gifts to the Toys for Tots campaign, along with many monetary donations.  Thank you to our local businesses that hosted a box and to our community for donating toys.

We were proud to partner with Shawano BID and host a game station at the annual Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting.  All ages enjoyed our "Pin the Nose on Olaf" and enjoyed our treat bags from Old Glory Candy.  We also sponsored a beautiful tree in the park, again. A special thank you to Shawano BID for organizing this amazing event!
